A payout request is checked against the verified account: the identity documents must have cleared and the payout rail must carry the same name. GCash usually clears within a 15-minute to 2-hour window and Maya in 1 to 3 hours, while bank payouts depend on whether they run over InstaPay in real time or PESONet within the banking day.

Why the first payout is always the slow one

The first request is where the platform finishes the work it deferred: matching the government ID against the account name, matching that name against the payout rail, and confirming that no bonus requirement is still open. Later requests skip most of that, which is why the second payout on the same account frequently lands within the advertised window while the first one took most of a day. Nothing has changed except the checks that no longer need repeating.

The two things worth doing before you ever request a payout: complete verification early, and make sure the wallet you plan to receive into is yours and fully upgraded. A semi-verified GCash wallet is capped at 50,000 pesos, so a larger balance is paid in parts whatever the platform does. Where those tiers sit is set out in Payment Methods.

Requesting a payout cleanly

  1. Check that the identity documents have cleared before you request anything.
  2. Confirm the receiving wallet or bank account is in your own name and fully upgraded.
  3. Close any open bonus requirement, or accept that the bonus portion stays locked.
  4. Request an amount above the platform minimum and below your wallet's daily ceiling.
  5. Keep the request reference; if the window lapses, that reference is what support needs.

Frequently asked questions

How long should a first payout take?
Longer than the advertised window, because the identity and name checks complete on the first request. Later payouts on the same account usually fall inside the normal 15 minutes to 3 hours range.
Can I cash out to a relative's GCash wallet?
No. The payout rail has to carry the same name as the verified account, and a mismatch is the most common reason a request is held.
Why was my payout split into parts?
Wallet ceilings. A fully verified GCash wallet is limited to 100,000 pesos in a day and a semi-verified one to 50,000, so a larger balance arrives in instalments.
